Wrights Drycleaners & Apparelmaster of Ashburton have once again been named the Supreme Apparelmaster Business of the year, an award they also won in 2011.
Neroli and Stuart Cross have owned and operated Wrights Drycleaners & Apparelmaster for the past 10 years. On accepting their award at the Apparelmaster Annual Awards held in Dunedin in May, Stuart was quick to point out “this win is a team effort, we have a loyal and dedicated team who always put the customer first and we also acknowledge the strong support from our customers who support our locally owned and operated business”.
Each year 30 Apparelmaster businesses nationwide are reviewed and scored on how well they do in seven categories including Customer Service, Plant & Production, Staff and Management, Product and Quality Control and Business Sustainability.
Part of the Customer Service criteria revolved around customer survey results received from the Apparelmaster national customer survey carried out in the past 12 months. The team at Wrights Drycleaners and Apparelmaster topped the country with their results which showed over 90% of customers thought their service and products were ‘excellent’ .
Sustainable Business is another priority for the team at Wright Drycleaners and Apparelmaster. “We pride ourselves on being able to provide a top service and high quality product to our customers and doing it responsibly”, says Stuart. They have been formally recognized for their efforts at the Ashburton Sustainable Business Awards and continue to review and improve their Sustainable Business practices as members of the Instep Carbon and Sustainability Programme.
“We really pride ourselves on doing things right the first time, top quality and service are paramount. We also believe that doing things right by our staff and our customers is the way to do business”, say the Wrights. The Supreme Apparelmaster Business Award is a clear indicator that they are doing exactly that.
